Guess what I’m grateful for today! Seriously, one guess. Day 7.

Posted on 7 November, 20207 November, 2020 by dilovelyadmin

Basically everyone I know and love is grateful for the same thing today: the defeat of the orange monster.

Maybe if all of us grateful folks work really hard to be extra civil and professional and compassionate and well-spoken (when possible and called-for), we can remind the rest of the population that good behaviour toward other humans is a thing. And that it matters.

I feel confident that the new President and Vice President will be good examples of this.

On a more local note, I’m also really grateful for a beautiful, mild day in which my kids got to run around at the park with friends, being kids, and parents got to chat amongst themselves, being adults.

I guessed right! Me, too. They’ve got a tough row to hoe, however, with millions of Americans actually in favour of the O.M. and feeling angry, and especially if the Republicans hold on to the Senate. That was what squashed a number of Obama’s most promising initiatives.

On another note, I love the NaBloPoMo gratitude posts! They may be short (sometimes), but they’re sweet.

Yes, I agree it will be a hard slog in the White House. But the Dems seem pretty upbeat so far!

Thank you, I’m glad you’re enjoying the posts! It is nice to blog without putting pressure on myself.
