Click, Clack, Moo – Cows That Type

Posted on 22 November, 20117 November, 2018 by dilovelyadmin

Here’s a taste of story time with Auntie Em and the whiz kid. (Sort of. Usually story time occurs in the rocking chair, without quite so much playing with random objects… but hey, he does okay.)

The story is “Click, Clack, Moo”, by Doreen Cronin, illustrated by Betsy Lewin. It’s a cool, silly little story with great pictures – I recommend it.

I know it’s pretty long – you might be asleep by the end – but you at least want to hear him say “ultimatum”.

    oh, priceless!
i like “ultimatum”, but “neutral party” is even better and best of all is “he’s freaking out”.

actually, he’s only ONE – THE only one! NObody is like him!

My favourite is “heard of such a thing.” And “ty……ype.”

This is actually the first time we read this book in such an animated way; usually he is looking at the pictures the whole time. But he seems to have it down pretty well even without the visuals!

He used to say “eyes” (instead of ears) on the first “couldn’t believe his…” and one time I said “No, the first time it’s “ears.” The next time we read the book I got to “Farmer Brown couldn’t believe his-” and he said “this time it’s ears.”
